Bazan earned his degree from Instituto Nacional de Educación Física in Granadero Baigorria, Santa Fe, Argentina in 1994. He served as a strength and conditioning coach with the Venezuelan National Team from 2008 to 2013. Bazan worked as the strength and conditioning coach for Club Tijuana in Liga MX in 2019 and this season he signed with Orlando City (MLS).
